CRFKC Series’ Finale Under the Lights at TRAK Doubleheader!

Complimentary Corn Roast to follow!

Goodwood Kartways is set to host a spectucular day of racing this Saturday as the Toronto Racing Association of Karters contests Races 10 and 11 of its schedule, pairing with the Champion Ron Fellows Karting Challenge in racing under the lights!

Introduced back in 2009, the annual doubleheader night race at Goodwood has always been a massive hit and this year’s edition promises to build on that reputation as drivers look to secure titles in the CRFKC.

This year’s event will follow the same successful format used in the past. To kick things off, TRAK Race 10 will form the early portion of the day. Registration will open at 8am, driver’s meeting takes place at 9:30am, practice starts at 10am sharp and racing is scheduled to wrap up by 3pm.

CRFKC Officials will then quickly shift gears in preparing for the second event of the day, as TRAK, MIKA and CRFKC karters prepare for the annual night race. Night race registration will open at 1pm, driver’s meeting will take place at 3:15pm, practice begins at 3:30pm and finals continue as night falls.

Keeping with tradition, the event will conclude with a COMPLIMENTARY CORN ROAST for all participants in attendance to enjoy. Special THANKS to the Boyle Family for their contributions in making this possible!

The doubleheader takes place this Saturday September 10th. The track will be open for practice on Thursday, September 8th, from 10am-7pm, and Friday September 9th from 10am-2pm. Visiting club members are always welcome.

Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for expected temperatures and plan ahead. Extra pit lighting is highly recommended. Please note that overnight camping is not permitted as per municipal by-laws.
