	69 different Countries log on to view ASN/FIA Canadian National Karting Championships from Goodwood Kartways
	TORONTO, ONTARIO – Canadian Karting News (www.canadiankartingnews.com) recorded record numbers of unique viewers this weekend during CKN’s LIVE coverage of the ASN/FIA Canadian National Karting Championships from Goodwood Kartways. CKN reports that thousands of viewers from 69 different countries tuned into the CKN LIVE event coverage during the weekend. “I knew the numbers would be good based on the number of people sending comments to us as the event was going on,” CKN over Russ Bond said. “But when I checked the Google Analytic recorded numbers on Monday morning I was shocked. We had viewers from 69 different countries logged on at some point during the weekend – that is just amazing.” “I believe that Canada is a powerhouse for developing quality racers, and I suspect that the rest of the world who will have to race against Team Canada at the Rotax Max World Finals wanted to see who they were up against, so they tuned to our CKN LIVE event.,” Bond added. During the weekend, CKN LIVE featured live event coverage, but also during a rain delay some of the top drivers came over to chat with their fans. “If I’m being honest, it happened by accident,” Bond said. “It was during a rain delay and I was going to get a coffee, so I asked Daniel Morad to fill in for me and answer some questions from the viewers – when I got back 20 minutes later, he was still going strong. Right then I knew this was a hit!” Besides Morad, Lorenzo Mandarino, PL Ouellette also answered questions during the live event. Newly crowned National Champions Hugo Ouellette and Frank Launi also spent time at the CKN LIVE keyboard. “I have to think it also is a big help to our advertisers. If you look back through the replay of the event and see the number of people asking about what chassis a driver uses, or who does his engines, it has to be a boost for our supporters, and we are very happy about that,” Bond added. In the future, RBA is committed to adding features to the CKN LIVE event coverage. “Well, we’d really like to add the live timing and scoring, and a video feed. I also think a good audio feed would be good because I’m not the fastest at typing in the world, and to have a good audio feed would get our readers more coverage of an event.,” Bond added.
