Briggs & Stratton Weekly Racing Series – Upping the Anty!

The Briggs & Stratton Weekly Racing Series offers sprint tracks and 206 racers a great way to race locally while competing regionally via a points system for over $50,000 in prizes. “The Briggs & Stratton WRS is about supporting tracks and racers. It’s free! Every track that signs up and stays current is eligible for a Briggs PowerSmart Inverter generator at a subsidized price for their year-end banquet or to use as a fundraiser” stated David Klaus, Director-Briggs Racing. “This is in addition to competing for some great prizes as well as exposure and bragging rights throughout the year.”

The Briggs WRS now looks to further support participating tracks through a subsidized tech tool offer. “A successful track program starts by maintaining a level playing field. As a leader in the sport we look to help grow and work with tracks by supporting them with the tools they need to make that happen.”

Tracks that meet program eligibility will be able to purchase a tech tool kit valued at over $200 for a subsidized cost of $100 delivered. This kit includes a complete carburetor and the base cylinder head port, seat, and bowl gauges and no-go tools. “This kit will allow tracks to perform the majority of checks to insure parity. A depth gauge, a dial indicator, and a few individual tools to augment the system and a track will have everything needed.”

Tracks have until April 24th to sign up for the Briggs & Stratton Weekly Racing Series at www.BriggsWRS.com.

Tracks already signed up will be contacted via e-mail and new tracks will be given a form to submit to take advantage of this offer.
A special thanks to Sox Racing, the official tech tool supplier of the 206 program, for supporting tracks by providing the very tools they need to be successful. We would also like to thank RLV, Amsoil (Briggs 4T), and our PowerSmart Inverter Generator team for supporting this program. “These sponsors are the very foundation that share a belief that racing starts at the local track and it begins with EVERY racer.”
