The countdown is on, we are only 10 days away from the 2013 ASN Canada FIA Canadian National Karting Championships! The countries best kart racers will convene at the Goodwood Kartways circuit just north of Toronto for the 5-day event with official move in beginning early next week. Many teams have already setup their temporary homes at Goodwood, with this weekends TRAK club race being used by many to make final preparations for the event.
If you are attending and haven’t yet voted in our website poll, be sure to look over to the right-side column (or below) and submit your vote.
We will begin our previews for each class later this week leading up to official practice on Wednesday. Once again we have polled the CKN Panel to predict their finishing order of each class. Together, the average of the four panel analysts will create our Top-10 preview for Rotax Senior, Rotax Junior, Briggs & Stratton Senior and Rotax DD2, while we selected the top-5 for Micro-Max, Mini-Max, Briggs & Stratton Junior and DD2 Masters.
We will also give you the reader the chance to vote for who you think will win each class. These polls will be displayed below each class preview.
A reminder to those interested in testing a Canadian Touring Car, our contest with Blanchet Motorsports closes soon. Be sure to submit your entry here.
For our coverage of the event, CKN Live will running from Friday on with CKN special guest Parker Thompson managing the ticker. Live Timing should also be running on the CKN Live page. Daily photo galleries will hit up the site, as will daily class-by-class report and results posted to our Competitions page. We also have some special features up our sleeves for the event, so be sure to tune into CKN all week long as well as the week following the event.
Special Photo packages will also be available for the event. Be sure to speak with Cody Schindel, Neelan Nadesan or Parker Thompson to get yourself setup with a package.
We can’t wait to get setup at Goodwood and get the event rolling. Canada’s best will be sure to put on a great show all week long and we are very excited to show and tell you how it happens.
As always, thanks for tuning in to CanadianKartingNews.com
